APCIS (Asia Piano Competition Index Score) is a standardized index that expresses the evaluation of each performance as a single score. Evaluations from the video preliminary rounds — including past editions — are statistically standardized so that the overall average becomes 500. Rather than a raw point total, it indicates a performance's relative position within the entire field, allowing comparison across categories and across years.
